***If you have questions or other problems relating to homework or quizes, you
should talk to your TA before the last week of classes. (By the last week of classes
they will have given me the final homework and quiz averages, and I won't want to
make any changes after that time.) I will be out of town the week of 8/13, and
I probably won't return till classes begin for the Fall term. If you need to see me
it will likely have to be during my office hours after the term begins. I may
not be able to read or answer email while I am away.

Test 1 was scaled by adding 6 points to the raw percent score. (Raw avg was about 75, scaled avg about 81. 6 points is slightly more than 1 question's worth.)
Test 2 was scaled by adding 6 points to the raw score. (Raw avg was about 76, scaled avg about 82.)
