REVIEW FOR EXAM 1
- We met this Friday, February 16,
3-5 pm in RLM 5.116 for our exam
review. Teams of you, the students, had been assigned a section from
the material in order to prepare a 5 minute review to present to the
class on Friday. The teams also picked two problems or so per section
to work on. Thanks to all of you who
contributed to this review session!
- Here is a brief outline of the material covered
in
class so far and relevant for exam 1. At the end, you will also find a
couple of
additional practice problems.
- Here is a practice exam for you. Some time this
weekend, you should allow
yourself two hours without interruptions in a quiet area without books,
notes, calculators etc. to work these practice problems in a test-like
situation. This is important so you can learn to pace yourself (about 7
minutes per problem)! Use a separate sheet of paper for your work and
to mark your answers!
- The solutions
to the practice exam!
- More chances for reviewing and studying
for the test and getting help with homework and practice problems:
- Discussion 8-9 am on Monday - we'll
have Ryan and Omar to help us :-)
- Extended Office hours 1:30 - 4 pm on
Monday
- Class 10-11 am on Tuesday
PLEASE
MAKE SURE TO BRING YOUR QUESTIONS TO ALL OF THESE!
CORRECTIONS
FOR EXAM 1
- I expect all of my students
