Student Organizations

• Actuarial Science Club

  The Actuarial Science Club assists students interested in a career as an actuary, a business person who uses math and statistics to assess the financial consequences of risk.

• Math Club

  The Math Club consists mainly of math majors with activities ranging from eating pizza to competing in Math contests.

• Saturday Morning Math Group

  The Saturday Morning Math Group is a UT sponsored outreach program aimed at junior high and high school students, their teachers, and their parents. A background in beginning algebra and basic geometry is expected, but is often unnecessary. It is free and no registration is required. We meet about four times per semester on Saturday mornings from 10:00 am - 12 noon.
