Jr. Topology: Some special twisted torus knots by Brandy Guntel (UT Austin) in RLM 12.166
Dehn surgery on a hyperbolic knot can yield one of six types of manifolds: hyperbolic, reducible, , toriodal, a lens space and a Seifert fibered space. Among these surgeries, those yielding non-toroidal Seifert fibered spaces are the least understood. In this talk, we will discuss families of twisted torus knots with small Seifert fibered surgeries, families of twisted torus knots that are fibered, and the connection between these families.
