Actuarial financial aid

"Actuarial financial aid" refers to financial aid primarily controlled by the actuarial program itself as opposed to that available through Student Financial Services. Actuarial financial aid is primarily merit based for students already active in the program (although not necessarily seeking a degree). There are no restrictions on receipt of funds from other sources, although the receipt of actuarial financial aid may well affect the award or continuation of aid from other sources.

Actuarial financial aid consists of scholarships, internships/scholarships with the Texas Department of Insurance, and merit-based loans.
