What does it take to pass actuarial exams? According to the Society of Actuaries,

  1. Studying 100 hours for each hour of exam and logging study hours
  2. Motivation
  3. Doing lots of practice problems
  4. Taking practice exams in testing center environment !!!

You can do the first 3 on your own, but maybe not the last: Taking practice exams in a testing center environment. UT ASC can help! No matter what exam you want to take, we can arrange a room similar to an actual testing center with a proctor.

To help you pass, we'll give you:

  • A never opened exam
  • Provide you with a simulated testing center environment
  • Provide you with complete solutions and tips on exam techniques

Mock Exams Information:

  • We will be using the retail BPP practice exams for our mock exams. BPP is famous for its near SOA/CAS quality exams.
  • Mock exams will be held a couple of weeks prior to the real exam dates as printed below:

*P mock exam will be computer-based imitating the actual exam environment!
  • Mock exam times will correspond to the actual exam times. You need to be prepared to wake up early and take a multiple hour exam! Try it!
  • The DEADLINE to register AND PAY for your mock exam is Friday, March 28th. Registrations will be processed through Friday, April 4th. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact the club officers.
  • Solutions can be picked up immediately following the mock exam.
