Edit your content

To edit your page, use the WYSIWYG editor. On the footer of each page, there is a "last updated" link,  like the next line
      Last updated Sat Oct 1 17:18:14 2005
Click on it will send you to a confirmation screen on which you can login and use the editor. The WYSIWYG editor is very much like your familiar word processor. HTML experts can also edit directly the source code using the integrated source editor, available in a popup window when you click on the HTML button on the toolbar.

One quick method to export your current page to this system is to use cut and paste. The following procedure should work on the departmental Linux computers.
  1. Visit your page, start the WYSIWYG editor, using mozilla or mozilla-firefox.
  2. Hit Ctrl-N to open a new browser window, visit your old page in this new window, and use the left mouse button to highlight your content.
  3. Move your mouse pointer inside the editor window, click the middle mouse button to paste your old page into the editor.
  4. Edit if you wish, and save.

Please note: the WYSIWYG editor only works on mozilla based browsers!
