One consequence of the results of Laptev-Naboko-Safronov [11]

ABSTRACT.  The main goal of the paper is to illustrate the significance 
of the work Laptev-Naboko-Safronov [11]. We consider the 
Schr\"odinger operator $-\Delta+V$ for $d\geq 3$. We prove that 
the a.c. spectrum is essentially supported by $(-\infty,\infty)$ 
under assumption that $V\in L^{d+1}$ and the Fourier transform 
$\hat{V}$ 
is square integrable near the origin.
