Chierchia L., Perfetti P. Maximal Almost-Periodic Solutions for Lagrangian Equations on Infinite Dimensional Tori (26K, Plain TeX) ABSTRACT. A generalization to infinite dimensions of the existence of maximal quasi-periodic solutions for Lagrangians on tori is presented. The topology on the configuration space (an infinite dimensional torus) is the standard weak topology. The existence of uncountably many almost-periodic (in the sense of H. Bohr) solutions is established for a general class of regular potentials (including "long range interactions"). The frequencies of the solutions are unbounded.
