[Maxima] Should be functions names in Maxima similar to Lisp names?

 Perhaps it would be a good idea that new functions that exists in lisp receive 
names as in lisp (at least this is an orientation). This way Lisp user would be
more familiar with maxima language, and also is easier to remember a function 
name that is known (this is not asking for a rule, only a suggestion).

  For example now that is going to be implemented position and position-if in
maxima, perhaps with another name but the same functioning like in lisp.
