[Maxima] proposal to omit pdf generation of reference manual

Selected section on plotting Not only is its math typeset better, it is
written better, in my opinion.

The current manual seems to have lots of pointless waste, e.g. lines like
this:

(%i1)  someflag : 0;
(%o1)                         0

Which could be more compactly be written

(%i1)  someflag : 0$

The section you point to also uses active tense mostly, making it simpler
and less formal than the use of passive tense elsewhere. k like.
