[Maxima] CVS help

Thanks to everyone's help, I seem to have gotten over the hurdle, and CVS is
now working in Emacs with automagic security (no passwords).  That said, I
am not completely sure which of the incantations I'm using are actually
necessary, and whether it will all work tomorrow, but tomorrow is another
day....

I will of course be happy to help others using similar configurations.
