Hello, It seems that Maxima gives %i as the reaction to sqrt(-1). It is OK when the underlying number system is the complex field. Is it possible to change underlying number system to real so that the reaction to sqrt(-1) is relevant. It seems that "realonly" and "realroots" are not for that case.
