[Maxima] SF[2477795] "assume":problems with fractions or multiples of %pi and %e

So assume lacks of functionality and the code is not documented :-(
Sorry for being so annoying for this problem, I really needed an assume 
working with trigonometric functions but it was not in my intention to 
make it sound like an urgent feature request.
I don't know neither Lisp or Maxima sources, so I cannot help...
I hope someone can understand how the database functions... is this code 
so old?
