[Maxima] simplification of (4-4*x^2)*sqrt(1-x^2)

By the way, among other things, I tried rootscontract---yikes:

(%i26) rootscontract(%i/%pi);
(%o26) -%i/%pi

(%i27) rootscontract(%);
(%o27) %i/%pi
