[Maxima] Queries about use of maxima

I'm unaware of a software manual which is not deficient in some (most)
respects. 

Having said that, Maxima is maintained by volunteers. If you wish to see
the manual improved, I suggest that you file a bug report (the Maxima
command 'bug_report' tells you where/how) and include a suggested patch.
