Using a Macintosh PPC G4, system 10.4.11 Tiger, with Xcode 2.5 installed, I
had problems in installing wxWidgets 2.8.10 and wxMaxima 0.8.4.
Before, I installed successfully maxima 5.20.1 (maxima and xmaxima) and it

After compiling wxWidgets ('sudo make install'), the was the following
message in the Terminal:
"The installation of wxWidgets is finished. On certain

LD_LIBRARY_PATH (or equivalent) environment variable.
wxWidgets comes with no guarantees and doesn't claim
to be suitable for any purpose.
Read the wxWidgets Licence on licencing conditions."
Then, I tried to install wxMaxima 0.8.4
herbert-ballmanns-power-mac-g4:~/wxMaxima-0.8.4 heba$ ./bootstrap
and had the following message:
"herbert-ballmanns-power-mac-g4:~/wxMaxima-0.8.4 heba$ ./bootstrap

Did I make something wromg or is there any imcompatibility or something
missing in the system?
