[Maxima] Can maxima be used for renormalization group analysis?

Dear all,

Recently I have become interested in renormalization group analysis, specifically for applications in turbulence modeling (the work of Yakhot and Orszag, McComb etc.). So my question to you is: is there a RNG package for maxima? Has anyone done RNG analysis with maxima (probably for quantum mechanical problems)? So things like obtaining the Fourier transform of a PDE, finding fixed points, etc.
