It used to be that pending tickets would automatically close after 14 days or so if no one responded. That doesn't seem to be the case anymore and sourceforge apparently won't fix it: https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/sourceforge/ticket/24729 I guess they want projects to migrate to the new beta sourceforge system.
