There is often more than one way to write a noncommutative product with
(a . b)^^3 == a . (b . a)^^2 . b
a . b . a . b . a == (a . b)^^2 . a == a . (b . a)^^2
even more fun with inverses:
a . b . a == (a . b)^^2 . b^^-1
(a . b . a^^-1)^^2 == a . b^^2 . a
I had started looking at this a long time ago... but I don't think I got
