Xinchen Zhang 2013-2014

Dr. Zhang was a Simon postdoctoral fellow at the ECE department of UT Austin, during 2013-2014. He was working with Profs. Jeffery Andrews, Francois Baccelli and Robert Heath on topics in spatial network analyses. He received the B.E. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in 2008 (with honors), and obtained the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Univ. of Notre Dame, IN, USA, in 2010 and 2013 respectively. He held visiting/internship positions in University of New Mexico, NM, Broadcom Corp. in Sunnyvale, CA and Huawei US R&D in Bridgewater, NJ. His research/work experiences include signal processing, wireless channel characterization and modeling, random network analysis, interference management and mitigation, MAC and power control scheme design. Anastasios Kyrillidis

Anastasios (Tasos) Kyrillidis is currently a postdoctoral member in the UT ECE department, working with Constantine Caramanis, Alex Dimakis and Sujay Sanghavi. His research interests lie mostly on the intersection of optimization and machine learning, with a particular focus on problems with practical impact. Before joining UT Austin, he received his PhD from the department of Information, Communication and Computer Sciences at Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL). Anastasios' webpage.

Jae Oh Woo

Jae Oh Woo is a Simons postdoctoral fellow hosted by François Baccelli and Sriram Vishwanath. His primary research area is the interplay between Information Theory and Probability Theory. He is also interested in Stochastic Geometry, High-dimensional Geometry, and Machine Learning problems. He received the B.S. degree in Mathematics from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in South Korea and Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from Yale University. Jae Oh's webpage
