This is the second half of the mathematics course required for students in the College of

Business. The topics have been worked out in cooperation with the faculty of that college

and include the following: differential and integral calculus of functions of several

variables with applications, infinite series, improper integrals; and introductions to

probability, differential equations, systems of linear equations, matrices, and linear

programming.

There are usually three lecture hours and two hours of problem work with T.A.’s per

week. May not be counted by students with credit for Mathematics 408D, 308M. May not

be counted toward the requirement for the Bachelor of Arts, Plan I, with a major in

mathematics nor toward the Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree.
