M 302 Intro to Math

Not your typical math class! Learn how to hack games, measure levels of infinity, visualize four-dimensional objects, represent networks, and draw fractals. Delivered online with live office hours and review sessions.

M 310P Plan II Math

An opportunity for Plan II majors to learn about significant developments in modern mathematics. Generate fractals, explore the use of probability in decision making, and discover new techniques for thinking about quantitative problems. Delivered online with live office hours and peer-led review sessions.

MathBridge

MathBridge is a special dual-enrollment version of M 302 Intro to Math offered exclusively to Texas high school students. Students experience an authentic college-level math course, earn UT credit towards their degrees, and tour the UT Austin campus.

About Dr. Hager

Amanda Hager has been a Longhorn since 2011. She earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics at the University of Iowa and worked at the United States Military Academy at West Point. She is passionate about liberal arts education, college readiness, faculty welfare, modular origami, and Olympic weightlifting.
