The final will cover sections:
1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4,
3.6, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 5.1, 6.1, 6.3, 7.1.
Check digits and RSA are excluded, but you should be able to study
equations
of the form x^k=a(mod m) where gcd(a,m)=1, gcd(k, phi(m))=1.
Please review all the homework problems. Here are some more
problems.
Some of them
are challenging. Please don't use the book,
as part of the work is to find an appropriate
technique
without
knowing which section the problem came from.
