Course Logistics

Text: Vector Calculus by Marsden and Tromba, 5th Edition

Homework
Homework will be assigned in lecture and collected at the BEGINNING of section. No late homework will be accepted for any reason. To alleviate any hardship that this policy may incure 10% will be added to everyone's semester homework great (to a maximim of 100%).

Quizzes
There will be three exams, each worth 18% of your total grade. The exam dates are October 3, November 2, and December 5. Note that the exams will be administered in the discusssion section. No makeup quizzes will be given for any reason. If you mist miss a quiz, that quiz grade will be replaced by the grade on the final exam. If you do not miss any quizzes, your lowest quiz grade will be replaced by the final exam grad, if the latter is higher.

Semester Grade
The semester grade will be weighted as follows:
