Directions on how to use WTS: 1.       Go to https://utdirect.utexas.edu/its/account/user_agreement.WBX 2.       Select “I Agree” after being debriefed about using UT software 3.       Upon pressing “I Agree”, you’ll come to a list of ITS services. You must select two of these services: a.       “Austin Disk Services” –which provides you with storage space on the server in increments of 1 gig. b.      “Windows Terminal Services” – which is you remote access deal-a-ma-hopper. 4.       Upon adding the “Austin Disk Services” you will have to pay a $1 - $5 charge billed to your “What I Owe” page…you will have to pay this before you can continue; and the “Windows Terminal Services” costs nothing. 5.       Once you’ve paid at “What I owe”, here are instruction on how to use WTS: a.       Click: “Start” menu then “All Programs” then “Accessories” then “Communications” then “Remote Desktop Connection” b.      The window that pops up with ask for “Computer”…enter this URL: wts.austin.utexas.edu c.      The next window will ask for ID, PW, and will have a drop-down menu.                   i.      ID: UTEID                  ii.      PW: Your UTEID corresponding password                 iii.      Drop down: Select “AUSTIN” 6.       After all this is complete, a window will pop up which will be a remote desktop, the start menu on this desktop will contain programs such as 7.       MAPLE 10
