I was born in Portland, Oregon where I attended US Grant High School. In my spare time, I nerded it up with my cast of friends, played video games, and read books. From there, I went to Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, CA and majored in mathematics. While at Mudd, I met my fantastic, fabulous, one-in-a-trillion wife, Nancy Eisenmenger. Now I'm on the road to a PhD in mathematics at UT Austin, where I am often in the company of dangerous characters.
