M408C is an introduction to single-variable calculus aimed at students in the natural sciences, the social sciences, and engineering. The topics covered include exponential and trigonometric functions, inverse functions, limits and continuity, derivatives, optimization, the Riemann integral, and techniques of integration. The emphasis of the course is on computational methods, not proofs.
