About Me

I am a third year graduate student in mathematics at UT Austin. I received my undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign. I grew up in Chicago, IL, which is still one of my favorite cities in the country.

In the summer of 2012 I worked as a teaching assistant at the Summer Program for Women in Math (SPWM) at George Washington University. If you are an undergraduate woman interested in math, check it out!

Research

I am interested in algebraic number theory and algebraic geometry. In particular, the Brauer Manin obstruction to the Hasse principle. My advisor is Felipe Voloch.
