Proofs Involving Horror Balls! (10/29/03)

This was the first talk that I gave in the junior topology seminar at UT, which is primarily for advanced graduate students studying topology. I made the error of "not completely understanding what the f&*k I was talking about" in a proof by Colin Adams, and Andrew P. (a UT postdoc at the time) totally called me out on it. At least I got to draw some pretty pictures! Also, I think this was the last talk I gave in Junior Topology that actually involved topology in an integral way. And here's a hint about the title: compare it with the date of the talk. Boo!
