Interval Algebra and Analysis Applied to Topology (10/24/03)
This was the first talk that I gave at UT, and it was for the Sophex
seminar, which is aimed at first- and second-year graduate
students. Friends with fisheries were not mentioned, and there was
minimal paper throwing, so I suppose it was a relative
success. However, I had to rush through the juicy stuff during the
second-half of the talk because I was running out of time. A note
about the title: I wanted to squeeze in all four prelim
course topics, so perhaps I lost a bit of descriptive clarity as a
result.
