The Homology of Groups (3/24/04)
This topic was recommended to me by Richard Kent. He suggested
I read a tidy little paper by John Stallings called "A
finitely presented group whose 3-dimensional integral homology is not
finitely generated". It was a struggle, but I rather enjoyed it and I
think that, aside from a few complicated words--you know, the kind
that represent group elements--it was an okay talk.
