This is the home page of a japanese brazilian born in São Paulo "several" years ago. My husband (Evandro) and I live in Austin, TX -- USA. In august/97, I got a master degree from the Mathematics Department in The University of Texas at Austin. For my master report (postscript file), I wrote a project on Wallpaper Patterns under the supervision of Prof. William F. Schelter.
In the last two years, this department has developed a number of computer assisted projects to help with the teaching of undergraduate level mathematics classes. I am currently working in these projects with Prof. Willian F.Schelter and Prof. Maorong Zou. It all started with the BookMode Projects, which developed into NetMath (both created by Dr.Schelter). A number of applications were written using the resources of EZWGL (a cool C Graphics Library written by Dr. Maorong Zou). Right now, I am working on some Java enhanced projects for the teaching of Calculus I (M408C). See also TCLETS built for the same purposes.
