This Applet finds the derivatives of a given function F(x) up to degree four.

--  Push "Derive" to differentiate once. --  Hit "2nd&Up Diff" to find the second derivative. Hit again to find the higher derivatives. --  "Plot" opens a new application with F(x), F'(x), and F"(x) graphed altogether. The graph can be inaccurate when dealing with discontinuous function, but it is always possible to adjust extremes and replot. -- This Applet uses the Derive class written by Patrik Lundin that is available in the following site: lundin.SymbolicMath class library.
