The BookMode Workshop
BOOKS: The Basics . Books are files in which the highlighted regions are mouse sensitive. A simple click on this region provides an interface with a large number of packages such as Maxima, LISP, Gnuplot, Octave, etc. In this section you will learn about this new resource, how to access it, and how to work within and create a book file.
Introduction to Projects. Several projects related to classes offered by the Mathematics Department in the University of Texas were developed by the T.A.'s and Professors of the department. We will introduce you to a few projects for classes such as calculus, differential equations and statistics.
