Announcements

The final exam is on Tuesday, May 13th, from 9 am- 12 pm in RLM 7.104. Please note that you are required to take this exam. There is no make up exam, and you will receive a zero on this exam if you are not present. There is a final exam information sheet. The review for the final took place during the last three weeks of class, so there will not be an additional review. Notes are on Blackboard. Please email me if you have questions. Good luck.

Test 3 is on Friday, April 11th. It covers: 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.5(just the tangent part), 7.1, and 7.2. Notice it does NOT cover sum/difference/double/half angle stuff or 7.3. Those will definitely be on the final though, so we will talk about them some more on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday of this week will be review. You should do your old homework problems, and as many like them in the book that you can to review.

Test 2 is on Friday, March 7th. It is in class, one hour, from 8-9 am. It covers sections 3.3, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6. There is a detailed outline for review posted with the rest of the lecture notes, on the documents page of Blackboard. Review problems have been listed above. They are not to be handed in or graded. We will review Monday-Thursday in class. Bring questions.

Test 1 is on Wednesday, February 6th. It covers sections 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, and 2.5, except piecewise defined functions. There are no piecewise defined function problems on the test. I have assigned Chapter Review problems above. They are not going to be collected and are mostly odd numbered so you can check your answers on your own in the back of the book. Also read through the "Objectives" for Chapter 1 on p. 42 and for Chapter 2 on p. 111, and make sure you can do all those things (of the sections we covered) at the drop of a hat. Also look through your old quizzes and homework problems. We will review for the test on Tuesday and some on Monday of next week. These reviews will be question-based so bring questions. Good luck.
