Today I announced the homework policy, which is:
Due: every monday, by midnight. normally you would hand it in
at the end of discussion. otherwise put it in the envelope on my office
door or give it to me directly.
Lates: 10% off for every day late, and I reserve the right to
give 0 (zero) if more than 3 days late (so 100%, 90%, 80%, 70%, 0).

- Somebody left a book in the 1-2 discussion. Please claim it at my office if it is yours.

I have finished grading quiz 1 which took place on monday 2/9. 109 students wrote the test; the mean was 5.2/12 and the median 5/12. See here for sample solutions. See here for a list of common mistakes.

I made the homework due on wednesday this week because of the
test last week. If you did it already, hey, two days off!

Quiz 2, given on 3/24, has answers here. The class
average was 73.9% with 102 victims.
