review for the
test on Thursday and Friday of this week. These reviews will be
question-based, so be sure to come prepared and equipped with problems
that you found you needed help on. GOOD LUCK STUDYING!
- 11/12: Note I
have posted practice problems
on the homework page! I suggest that you also work through the Chapter
Tests on page 340 # 2-7, 12-23 and 424 # 1-12, 17-28.

the weekend at the latest and bring questions you might have on Monday

1.3, 1.4, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, and 2.5 and will assume everything from
Appendix A1 through A9 which is a prerequisite for chapters 1 and 2. I
have assigned review problems which you find on the homework
page. These are not going to be collected, but I expect you to have
worked all of them and bring potential questions to class or
discussion. Also read through the "Objectives" on page 42 or the
textbook (for chapter 1) and page 111 (for
chapter 2). In order to do well on the upcoming test and in
this class in general, you must master all these things easily and be
able to work problems fairly fast. So be sure to practice many, many
problems and don't mind repetition! Also be sure to look through your
old quizzes, worksheets and homework problems. We will review for the
test partly on Wednesday and all of Thursday of this week. These
reviews will be question-based so prepare your questions. GOOD LUCK
STUDYING!
