Here I am…Michalis (or Michail) Anthropelos.
I got my Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematics, in University of Texas at Austin in December 2008. My research area is Financial Mathematics and more precisely, problems on utility maximization, on derivative pricing in incomplete markets and on the theory of convex risk measures. The supervisor of my Ph.D. thesis was Prof. Gordan Zitkovic.
I have recently been elected as a lecturer in the Department of Banking and Financial Management of the University of Piraeus.
A few words about my studies… My bachelor degree is on Statistics and Insurance Science, awarded by University of Piraeus (Greece).
