2) Download the figures (in pdf) for chapter 1 and unzip them in a subfolder ImagesChapter1/pdf/ (or edit the .tex file look for the files somewhere else)
3) Download the figures (in pdf) for chapter 2 and unzip them in a subfolder ImagesChapter2/pdf/ (or edit the .tex file look for the files somewhere else)
4) Download the figures (in pdf) for chapter 3 and unzip them in a subfolder ImagesChapter2/pdf/ (or edit the .tex file look for the files somewhere else)
If you change the file names you must also change the way they are called in 382CNotesChapters-1-3.tex.Homework

Homework 4 in .tex.pdfDue 9/17/07 Instructions are on the homework
Homework 3 in .tex.pdf Homework 2: Finish homework 1a or 1b There are two options for the first homework, but assignments are of comparable length and difficulty. Here are both versions in .tex and .pdf formats. You are only required to submit one assignment. It is due Wednesday September 5. If you want to include figures it is certainly acceptable to leave white space and draw them in.
These assignments include a few too many problems. I added all of proofs I and II and not just the first 5 theorems of each. On either assignment just write up 1-10. The rest will be due at a later date.
You will be turning in a copy so be sure to make copies if you handwrite your work.
Homework 1a in .tex.pdf
Homework 1b in .tex.pdf
Just for fun you might want to play some games on the Klein bottle and torus.
