The purpose of this course is to prepare students for the first classes in
the calculus sequence (M408C or M408K). Credit for M305G may not be
earned after a student has received credit for any calculus course with a
grade of C or better.
The prerequisite for this course is a score of at least 480 on the SAT II:
Mathematics Level IC test, or Mathematics 301 with a grade of at least C.

Sullivan, Precalculus. Prentice-Hall, 8th edition, 2008.
Exams:
Exams will be given on Friday September 21st, Friday October 19th, and
Monday November 19th. They will each be 50 minutes long and worth 15 percent
of your final grade. To get some idea of what the tests will be like, try

Final Exam:
The final exam for this class is scheduled for 2-5pm on Monday, December 17th. It will be held in RLM 5.104. By signing up for this class, you have agreed to take the exam at this time. The location of the exam room will be announced approximately three weeks before the end of the semester.
