Teaching (Fall 2009)

I am currently teaching M408C: Differential and Integral Calculus I. The course uses Blackboard.

Research

My research interests are in number theory. I am primarily interested in topics relating to the height of algebraic numbers, such as questions regarding the distribution of numbers of low height and Mahler measure and questions regarding the various metrics and norms that can be associated to the Mahler measure of an algebraic number.

About me

I received my bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Physics with a language citation in Classical Greek from Harvard University in 2004. I wrote my senior honors thesis, on Lenstra's Elliptic Curve method of factorization, under the direction of Frank Calegari. I am currently a graduate student in mathematics at the University of Texas at Austin studying under the supervision of Jeffrey Vaaler.
