Travel Plans: I'll be visiting China from July 8-27, 2007. While there, I'll be visiting Hebei Institute of Technology, Qingdao University of Science and Technology, and the Chern Institute of Mathematics, Tianjin, where I'll attend the Special courses (July 16-20) and the Main International Conference (July 21-25).
I'll also be visiting CIRM at Marseille, France from November 19 to November 23, 2007.

Research Interests: Most aspects of Banach space theory, Operator spaces, point-set topology, ultrafilters on the integers

MATH CON Notes: (for mathematical concepts) is a project to bring basic mathematical concepts to the center of the middle school/high school curriculum. The "turn on" or "joy" of understanding and doing mathematics really stems from the insights obtained through the fundamental concepts.
