We will cover the book, roughly at a rate of one section per day, with various sections skipped.  In particular, we are not doing Chapters 2 or 10, and we are skipping section 3.5.

February 17-21: Systems of congruences, review, first midterm
February 24-28: Applications of congruences (selections from Chapter 5)

April 2-4: Chapter 8
April 7-11: Finish Chapter 8, review, 2nd Midterm
