SYLLABUS: The second part of the book. Commutative rings, Fields and Galois theory.

PREREQUISITES: The first part of the book will be assumed.

EXAMS: A midterm on Thursday, March, 20st at class time, covering chapters 16, 17, 18, 20 and 21, and a final on Wednesday, May 7th, 9-12 AM, in RLM 6.126 covering chapters 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27.

HOMEWORK: I will assign homework on a weekly basis and it will be due following week, unless otherwise stipulated.
