Printing Plots with Netmath
You must first select which output method you will use. This is
done by going into Config, and then Print Options.
- Save to a local file (defaults to ~/sdfplot.ps)
- Save to a remote file via ftp. This is intended for submitting
homework plots, and it chooses a file name based on chapter, section and
problem number.
- Print to postscript printer. This probably only works under
Unix. You can specify the printer in the entry box for that purpose.
If you have a PRINTER environment variable that will be the default.
Once you have chosen a method, clicking on the Save (or Print)
button will save or print the full window of the plot. You can mark
a smaller region to be printed, using the Mark button, and dragging
the mouse to outline a rectangle you want to print.
If you wish to print locally and do not have a postscript printer, then you
need something which will let your printer print postscript. These tools
exist and are freely available.
