Create a simple page

If you have published webpages before, all you need to do is to edit it somewhere and upload it to your public_html folder.

If you are new to web publishing, the simplest method is to start with a simple sample page, edit it with a WYSIWYG editor and save the result in your public_html folder.

Seamonkey

The open source Seamonkey Browser (a mozilla derivative) has a builtin WYSIWYG HTML editor (the composer). The browser is available for Linux, Windows and Mac OS X.

If you have used Mozilla in the past, seamonkey is no stranger to you. It looks exactly like the old mozilla. It contains all the three major components of mozilla: a browser, a composer and a email client. Seamonkey is a community maintained Mozilla after the Mozilla foundation dropped it.

Seamonkey is installed on all our linux computers. You can access it through the menu Applications => Internet => Seamonkey.
