Textbook: Elementary Differential Equations and Boundary Value Problems, 8th Edition by Boyce and DiPrima.

Midterm 1 will cover sections:1.1-1.3, 2.1,2.2,2.4,2.6,2.7,2.8,3.1-3.4.


Midterm 2 will cover sections: 3.5-3.7, 5.1-5.6, 6.1-6.6.
Office hours will be on Monday April 3, from 10-12 instead of Wed. April 5.


Final: Exam Date and Time: FRIDAY, MAY 12, 9 AM-12 Noon, Exam Room: GEO 2.216
Final will cover all sections from Midterms 1 & 2 and sections: 7.1-7.8, 8.1-8.3, 10.1-10.5, 10.7, 10.8
About half the material on the test will be from before Midterm 2 and half from after.
Some suggested problems from 10.5,10.7,10.8 are listed on the HW page.

Grading: 
1 Midterm on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006 in class worth 22.5% .
1 Midterm on Wednesday, April 5, 2006 in class worth 22.5% .
1 Final on Friday, May 12, 2006 worth 35%.
Weekly homework worth 20%.

Homework problems, due dates and sections that will be covered in the tests will be posted on this website.
Late homework is accepted but its value will be reduced by half for every additional week it is late.

Make up exams are not allowed except for religious holidays when proper 2 week notification is given to the instructor.
