Abstract. In this paper we establish sharp weighted Hardy-type inequalities on Carnot groups with homogeneous dimension $Q\ge 3$. A simple argument based on the sharp Hardy-type inequality is used to obtain uncertainty principle, Hardy-Sobolev and Rellich inequalities on Carnot groups.
