I am an assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics, UT Austin. I am also an Honary Senior Lecturer at with the Australian National University, and a Bonn Research Fellow at the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics, Germany.

I obtained my PhD in Statistics in 2013 under Bernd Sturmfels.
During undergrad I did math with the intention of becoming a better statistician. Now I am comfortable in both worlds. My research lies at the intersection of stochastic geometry, tropical geometry, discrete optimization, and data analysis.
